農曆新年到來，在迎接「猴年」的時刻，馬英九總統以國語和英語向中央廣播電台全球聽友拜年，祝福大家新春如意慶團圓、金猴吉祥富貴年。總統也希望未來兩岸能持續維持和平穩定，進而為台灣打造繁榮安定的社會。
在全球華人歡喜迎接「猴年」新春時刻，馬英九總統特別以國語和英語，透過中央廣播電台全球頻道，向聽友們拜年，祝福大家「新春如意慶團圓、金猴吉祥富貴年」。
總統表示，這幾年由於政策開放，去年國際來台旅客已突破千萬人次大關，更有超過160個國家與地區給予我國免簽或落地簽的優惠待遇。
此外，總統也提到去年他和中國大陸領導人習近平會面，目的就是希望鞏固台海和平，並進而為台灣打造繁榮、安定的社會環境。總統：『(原音)透過對等、尊嚴的對話，奠定兩岸穩定的互信基礎，維持和平發展的現狀，進而為台灣打造繁榮、安定的社會環境。』
總統表示，近8年來，不只兩岸從衝突對撞走向和平發展，他也不斷努力，希望維持東海與南海的和平，並期盼將區域衝突轉化為互利共榮，增進人民福祉。
總統表示，在傳統中，「猴」象徵機智與活力，他祝福大家在新的一年都能發揮創新精神，充滿信心，迎向未來。
副總統吳敦義也以國語和台語向央廣聽友們拜年，祝福大家新春新氣象，猴年好彩頭。
